The collection includes ao dai decorated with hand-embroidered spring flowers in Japan.

This is part of the cultural exchange program on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of establishing Vietnam - Japan diplomatic relations, held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and HCM City Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism. The program will run for two weeks from the beginning of September, through the five big cities of Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe and Nagoya.

Thuan Viet is the only Vietnamese designer who is invited to participate in the program. This time he will introduce three collections which combine traditional culture of the two countries, named: Snow Flower, Far East and Vietnam Flowers and Brocade.

The designs will be performed by Vietnamese models Ninh Hoang Ngan, Thuy Linh, Khanh Phuong, Kieu Ngan, Lieu Truc and Tram Anh.
